My live flute performance is thoughtfully designed around the beautiful traditions of South Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil weddings. Special attention is given to the bride’s key moments, including her grand entrance, Koorai (outfit change), and second entrance, with music carefully selected to complement each part of the ceremony.
The performance features a beautiful blend of iconic A.R. Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja melodies, popular Tamil and South Indian songs, romantic favourites, and traditional selections. Upon request, I can also incorporate traditional Nadaswaram tunes to beautifully complement the rituals and traditional elements throughout the ceremony.
Couples are always welcome to request their favourite or meaningful songs, making the experience even more personal to their celebration.
Post-Ceremony Celebration
As the celebration transitions into cocktail hour, the music shifts to a more vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Enjoy a versatile mix of Tamil favourites, A.R. Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja classics, Bollywood, English, and contemporary hits, creating an elegant yet lively experience for your guests.
